Anyways any trade between MTL and Calgary need to have Lucic contract to be send offer to compensate the money.

a first round pick from Calgary who would probably be between 20 to 32 which its late and lower value them a pick from 1 to 20. but at same time the 2023 draft is call a good one with alot of depth and gem so that give more value to any pick.

Wolf is untouchable for Calgary even if that could be a good prospect for MTL.


I could see a trade made of Lucic, 1 round pick 2023 and a little something with that like a prospect B or Second round pick or even a roster player with to much money to compensate for the salary.

Why would Calgary trade a first in a deep draft to get rid of half of a year of Lucic?

I was meant as trade base to acquire something from mtl as Anderson.

Mtl would want a first round pick and probably a prospect B to do that and Calgary need to move money if they acquire something so Lucic is the evidence choice
