Vejmelka, while not posting the strongest numbers, obviously has been on a terrible team, and allegedly has a great attitude and is better than his stats show. Would give the Devils a solid tandem with him and Vanecek for a few years while Daws and Schmid get more time to season in the minors. He comes relatively cheap too, given Vanecek is at $3.4m. Karl Also rumored to be available.

Blackwood just isn't going to pan out in Jersey, but he might do well with a change of scenery (long run). Chase Stillman gets added to the Coyotes' prospect pool on RW, hopefully to back up Dylan Guenther down the line.

I dont hate it, however i think the Coyotes would ask for more or get a better deal somewhere else for him

Love this deal for the Devils but it will never happen because management is still to high on blackwood and stillman. Vej would become a top tier starter on a good team.
