The cap is likely to be higher than this. I thought at first that report was overblown, but NHL teams think it’s taking a good jump.

They already said it was going up 1m a few days after there the report saying it was going up 4. Lol.

It’s the projection. Per Bettman. It’s not official yet but that is what they are expecting.

They said 4-4.5m in October and backtracked to 1m in December.

That’s not how it happened. Minimum $1M and the higher number if the players pay back the debt to the owners, which they’re on track to.
