Of course they will be. They always are even when they shouldn't. Marchand will pot 75. Ullmark and Swayman both finish with .950. mcAvoy becomes the next 100 pt defenseman. All because they're the Bruins, this is what they do

I'm sure they will even if the bottom 6 isn't great on paper. I can't see Compher signing there and Coyle would play up instead. I think your Frederic deal is high on term and cap and Clifton is low (may not be back because of this). If they imagine a year grinding it out a bit, I can see a couple players moved including Grz, dumping Reilly (and no Compher) to secure Pasta (who I can't see getting 12m like some of these other Pasta/Boston future posts).

I certainly understand asking the question, but keep in mind, the vast majority of this forum had them missing the playoffs, and a lot of folks had them in bedard talk. The team has a culture, their best player just turned 25 and has 7 more years left, their goaltenders are likely both still around. I don’t think losing Krejci and swapping in Zacha will be enough to knock this team into oblivion

Frederic has been really good. I would be ecstatic if he signed that deal.
While I certainly understand the impulse, I can’t really see too many situations where moving Grzelcyk is a good idea. They’ll lose Clifton, but should do everything they can to keep the rest of the D in tact. It’s the primary reason why they’re so good.
