QTY over quality for Meier.
Not sure CHI retains for 3 years....
Minnesota not likely to move picks with their cap crunch upcoming. Kerfoot being UFA isn't terrible, but not sure they're in the market for him.

The value is probably close in the McCabe trade, but not certain the Hawks would retain that $2m for another 2 years. Timmins has shown he can play in the NHL if given regular ice time.

Timmons has to stay healthy too. Given Hawks D prospect depth, rather replace him with something else.

Just me, but I like Timmins more than Mitchell or Regula as a 3rd pair guy. You have a point about the injury history - I forgot about that!

I don't see Dubas trading Timmins he has already said the trade to acquire Timmins was for long term gain. I think there is good potential there and once Holl is off the books Timmins will be resigned for a good price and be a main stay on the Leaf's D (again as you guys said pending injury)
