If Allvin makes this trade. Pretty sure there would be pitchforks and burnt effigies inside Rogers Arena. Unless they are both dumber then Dim Jim Benning The teams needs a Retool not get older and worse for valuable pieces despite what some say about them.

I dont think they should do it either. Saw it in a VAN ACGM and someone said that the pens decline cause they cant afford it after this year. This would be a great deal for the pens idk what he was thinking. This is just to prove him wrong

Canucks shouldn’t do it. Idk who thinks this is good but Canucks management might be incompetent enough to try

This doesn’t prove me wrong. It proves me right lol. You are assuming Zucker is willing to take a pay decrease, Jarry is willing to take a discount cause I’m sure if all he’s asking for is 5 million per year that he’d have signed by now. You’re literally giving everyone the bare minimum or less and are barely cap compliant.

Zucker takes less and gets more term. Jarry wont get more than 6 mil. He has to prove himself in the playoffs first

I would be willing to bet a team would give Jarry 6 million per year. Absolutely. Otherwise he won’t take a long term deal to bet on himself. That’s still not enough. Look at what players with similar stats got last offseason. Perron, Copp, Trocheck. All got long term deals and 4.75 million+. This is his last chance at a big contract. The only way he takes less to stay here is if he likes it and probably if he gets a contract to finish out his career with a NTC.
