Description
The deadline plan should be to get maroon perry or bellmare into a scratch rotation while having a salary structure for next season, so naturally draft picks have to go, our picks are relatively higher in the draft so we'll see how brisebois values them. I think as long as we are in hagel's rfa contract status & still contain stamkos & hedman on sweet deals we just need to keep launching draft picks into trades so roughly until 2025, it is slightly dependant on how high the cap goes but it'll come down to hom much can we squeeze out of these acquisitions they'll be the difference makers for another cup run point kuch stammer hedman vasi will always show up as long as they are here.

To compare what we got for Dickinsons 2.5m cap id say this would be a decline.

Yes the Canucks also got Stillman but he was probably worth a 3rd at best if not a 4th.

That's not enough for Barabanov and Sturm. Barabanov on pace for 50+ points on a bad team and Grier would be really hard pressed to move Sturm at all.

Killorn is better offensively as good or better defensively and has unbelievable chemistry with Cirelli so, why on earth would you put Barabanov there instead of Killorn? If your answer is to get him ready for next year because they know he's gone I'll counter why then didn't they move Palat down so his replacement could get him ready for next year. Because doing so then as now would be foolish at best and coaching malpractice at worst.

I agree on Sturm, I don't think SJ moves him, plus Maroon can play wing. In this deal, if you want a C, maybe try for Bonino instead.

The way Grier spoke of Sturm in his midseason presser makes me think it'll take an overpay to get him. Nico will wear an A next year and is the only guy that could take Logan's C. Grier loves him.
