That is not a competitive offer for Horvat. Pittsburgh takes that and runs. Edmonton would, too, if they had any cap. Can't imagine LA is terribly interested. And I think Chicago can find a cheaper third party.

This is all a lot of yuck.

      - Vancouver declines and at the same time, Detroit are not buyers
      - Poor return for Bertuzzi, especially with retention. If he gets to the TDL and STILL isn't back to normal, then it changes things, but no sense in selling low now.
      - Florida isn't giving away prospects to move bad contracts, while at the same time, Detroit doesn't need any of that and the cap dumps are just a waste of a contract slot.
      - Kapanen is garbage. Futures for Suter, or even extend him at a lower AAV due to his versatility.
      - Futures for Maata if they move him, don't need to add an underwhelming prospect.
      - LA trade, whatever...
      - The 3 way deal is garbage for Detroit, 2 6ths to retain cap? What's even the point?!? Soderblom isn't a very good goalie either, so, just the novelty of having Elmer's brother doesn't seem worth it.

Aside from that, just this many trades in one TDL is incredibly video-gamey....
