Do this in trade machine so you wouldn’t have to see how brutal a lineup with horvat looks over in ACGM?

It’s not a fit.

How would adding another 30 goal scorer to your top 9 be brutal? Please explain that. You just sit online and critique people’s trade ideas. It’s easy to sit behind a screen and play ACGM, ain’t it? Doubt VAN would say yes, but it would HAVE to be something LIKE this trade idea to get it done. Probably another piece. And yes, the B’s are a wagon, but they need one more piece offensively and certainly one more piece defensively.

Adding Horvat to many rosters is not a bad move per se. However 2 things come to mind immediately, is it a rental or a trade and sign? Also the Bruins don't have the assets to make a move for Horvat and right now they have their lines running pretty smoothly at the moment. So you would bring Horvat in to play 3rd line barring injury so you don't disrupt chemistry. Do they Bruins need Horvat, absolutely, but they need him when Bergeron and Krecji retire which wont be until next season or the season after. So they are better served keeping their young limited assets and making a run at a UFA should Bergeron and Krecji retire next year. Not to mention if you are signing Horvat he turned down 8x8.5 in vancouver and the Bruins aren't going to lock up 18-21 million in Pasta and Horvat.

Third line checking center Bo Horvat everyone! There’s just no room on the roster to add a player of his style without completely disrupting what they already have. Why do that?

Yes, it would take something like this to get a trade done. I’m saying it’s ridiculously stupid to target Horvat, barring an injury to one of Bergeron or Krejci. This roster does not have room for a top six center, and it’s incredibly obvious. The top nine works. Go get injury insurance, don’t break up a team on a historic pace.
