Change the 2nd to the Florida 23 1st and you're in the running. Without the 1st, you don't stand a chance.

Take out Barron, Dach, and the '23 2nd and MTL accepts. Jets get nothing for him from us and only mediocre pieces from anyone else since he won't sign anywhere long term until he's UFA so he can sign where he wants...MTL.

Makes zero sense for Montreal to give up assets for a guy they’ll get for free in a year or two.
They gave up a lot for Dach. Can’t see them moving him for PLD.

It’s not a year or two, it’s 2 years lol. He’s an RFA. The jets won’t be trading him to the Habs in any situation. The window is now. They’ll either ride him this year and next and let him walk or trade him next deadline for a UFA for UFA or straight up to a contender for assets. Trading with Montreal offers them the least amount of value

Also all this PLD stuff is coming from Kypreos and the French media lol. I wouldn’t be surprised if he signs a 9x3 or something to bridge into a max deal in free agency
