Best Players from each team instead of us fans voting players in who shouldn't be there or the original choice wasn't the right one. Some teams don't get a representative just because the team isn't good enough or have no player deserving of it. Scratched players are backup players.

Dahlin easily deserves to be in the lineup over half of these players

Divisional all star teams suck. I have the impression they're super limiting on who gets to attend.

IE, none of the pacific goalies are really all-stars, but you need 2 because of how the teams are setup.
