Certainly an option for the Devils as a 7th D add. The price is what I expect the Devils to pay for depth there.

Personally I'd rather utilize Bahl, Okhitiuk or Walsh to fill any depth related needs.

For the playoffs? This might not be the year to rely on one of them for a playoff injury. All depth helps.

The Devils are playing with house money, I'd hope they use this unique opportunity to give any playing experience available to (be it regular season or playoffs) to all the guys we have in the organization already.

If it's a 4th rounder getting me a veteran with experience,I'll tale it. I don't want to go in with house money holding me back from such minor moves. I get that argument from those unwilling to go bigger for trades and liked our unit now.

I think fans want big splashes but sometimes it's the depth vet guy for a mid pick that solidifies a weakness or steps up in an injury situation. Most young players aren't ready for the playoff pace. I agree, vet player for a mid pick is how'd go about it. Unless Devils are getting and extending Meier, I like minor tweaks for them.
