Off-season from previous TDL post

Team: 2023-24 New York Islanders
Description
With all the draft capital acquired at the 2023 TDL, the isles position themselves to take great advantage of a strong 2023 draft class. Isles first rounder probably falls in the 8-12 range, while the EDM, VGK, and SEA 1st rounders should all be in the 20s. The isles and flyers 2nds should fall in the late 30s. Having 6 picks in the top-40 of one of the strongest draft classes in a while is exactly what this team needs.

Just because there are 3 on the roster does not mean that they are good or should all be on the roster. Varly is better than all and could bring this sabres team to the playoffs. A taste of the intensity of the playoffs could be good for this young buffalo team that i imagine will be strong contenders in the eastern conference within the next two to three years.

A goalie is the last player we would trade for this season

Varlamov isn't better than Anderson and UPL is still in Buffalo for a reason. They have no more interest trading for a goalie. Outside the 8 game losing streak where they were missing 4 of their NHL dmen, they're on pace for 111 points, they don't need Varlamov to push them over the edge. They can use some d help, specifically upgrading Bryson, or add another depth RD since they lost Fitzgerald
