I think Meier fetches more. I think the QO of $10M is a bit of an issue but he's an RFA and players of his caliber don't always come up. No reason Washington needs to do that, maybe a pick is more enticing or a younger Marlies player. Idk about Laughton, is there really a reason they need him?

Big pass from PHI. Laughtons contract + what he does for the bottom six is too valuable for the flyers to give up for a B+ prospect and a mid pick. Retention on top of it all, not enough value here
