THE FUTURE

Created by: bogdown
Team: 2024-25 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 31, 2023
Published: Jan. 31, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Hell yeah this team finally picked a track. Horvat was an incredible Canuck, came as a teenager and left as a husband, a father, and captain. His legacy as will always be remembered by Canucks fans but his journey comes full circle back to Lou 10 years later. If the Canucks get in the 13-16 ranger this year they take it and run with David Reinbacher. And in the offseason they stay conservative with scrap signing and targets two guys like Graves and Nylander that would be huge core pieces and place trust in the young core with Petey as captain.

That 4th line should be Abbotsfords first line, shouldn’t rush those guys in

I keep seeing that 2023 BUF 1st in trade scenarios and with VAN it's Demko.

Highly doubtful Sabres move that pick, especially for a goalie.

If you are going to buyout OEL then you may as well wait a year cause you have a lot of cap space so you might as well eat up the contract until you need the cap space.

Fair, more of just a placeholder for teams interested. Similar return to the Schneider trade for the 9th OA.

I’d love to bring back Motte. A fourth line of Joshua Lazar Motte could be nice

I think 9oa is more than a little optimistic.
