Description

Idk how well Domi plays at centre but could he be a decent option if AM or JT get injured in the playoffs?

Also I think with these moves we now add an offensive driver to our third line in Tarasenko while still having a solid defensive/checking. Acciari adds physicality and a little more scoring to the fourth line. How do you judge the trades value and fit wise?

Yeah, I think you are very close on the Blues offer, but might need a little sumpin sumpin they'd like to put it over the top. Some of the other teams who have been linked to him have lots of goodies to offer.

Max Domi is good offensively, he’s not very responsible defensively and played very very sheltered minutes for Carolina last year. Probably not a guy you want on the ice up by a goal in the 3rd period. Probably not the best option for center for Toronto

Hawks decline. Hawks will want a 2023 2nd for Domi w/ retention, and they aren't taking on an extra $2m in cap for free.

I figured since Chicago is selling this year they're gonna open up tons of cap space so taking on 2 mil won't be an issue. But if it is what needs to be added to the trade?

Leafs don't have a 2023 2nd, so Hawks probably take a different offer that includes one. I've seen several other "Domi to Toronto" trades on here that had the 2024 2nd and Abruzzese for Domi half retained so maybe that? Maybe Voit? Maybe Robertson?
