I don’t think there’s any world where McCabe goes to Ottawa. Their already interested in Chychrun. The Sens already have Chabot, Zub, Sanderson, Brannstrom, Docker, Holden, Thomson and Larsson. They don’t need and haven’t expressed interest in McCabe. If you could go after one of two players who would it be Chychrun or McCabe? For me, it would be McCabe. The Sens desperately need help defensively however like I said before, They haven’t expressed interest in him. Docker will be a top 4 d-man and so will Thomson. The Leafs on the other hand have expressed interest in McCabe now that Muzzin’s carrier is probably done.

Hawks aren't trading McCabe for two 4th round picks. JBD isn't that good of a prospect. And as stated already, McCabe probably isn't waiving for Ottawa anyway. And can't see Calgary trading Vladar for those 3 random pieces.

Wolf is 21 and waiver exempt for 3 more seasons. What's the rush to get him to the NHL? As for the 3 players in the Vladar trade, Calgary has 6 D men under contract for next season already. Can't see a reason they would want C. Jones or Mitchell. R. Johnson is a solid 4th liner, but his value isn't more than a 5th round pick. I'm sorry, but that trade as constructed makes no sense to me. Calgary would never make this trade in my opinion
