Bad trade for the caps and no reason to do that.

Horribly tilted towards NYIs favor? Lol, that Arizona trade is absolutely horrendous for Isles. Dufour is a legit prospect getting better by the day in a limited role in the A, playing for an abysmal Bridgeport team. Johnston costs literally nothing if sent down. Bailey's actual money is 3.5 next year with one more year on his contract on an Arizona team that doesn't care about the cap + a 2nd round pick for a bust in Barett Hayton playing on the 4th line in Arizona lol. Mantha is a cap dump with that contract, just like Palmieri, it's a wash (that Caps should not do of course due to Mantha being younger). And the Philly trade is definitely fair in terms of value, but there is zero reason for Philly do to it.

I don’t like Mantha, but he’s younger and has one less year on his contract. I think he’s better than Palmieri too.

He hasn’t been good but he’s probably not a cap dump. Could see him getting anywhere from a 2nd to future considerations.
