I think Vancouver rebuild fans would like this but I don’t see LA doing it

I agree. It is a stretch for sure. I would love to see brandt clark playing with hughes. If anything, canucks can maybe add in a 2025 3rd. Maybe that makes it better, but in the end, it is a mock trade lmao

Demko to LA just makes so much sense and they have the young players and prospects that Vancouver needs. Quick a UFA July 1 too…….or take back cal Petterson and live with iffy goaltending for a while

Until Demko gets back and starts playing like he's capable, VAN isn't seeing an offer like this from anyone. My guess is if there is a Demko move, it's in the offseason. LA will go with a rental goalie for this playoff run that won't cost them their best defensive prospect.

Close but still not ideal. Why are we giving a 2nd back? Schenn is worth a 3rd.

Demko and Schenn
For
Clarke, Roy, 1st and 3rd

Schenn is worth a first according to Elliot Friedman, and other insiders from TSN like servelli. Schenn is a leader that is an amazing defender that contenders and even younger teams want. He is worth a 1st, but not a high first. That’s why i’m saying contenders like LA who’s first ain’t going to be in the top 16.
