The Avs won't trade Foudy or Behrens for those guys, and certainly not both. It also puts them over the cap once Landeskog returns.

Realistically, imo of course, Colorado kicks the tires on Monahan (if he gets healthy) but only pulls the trigger if it's cheap and carries conditions such as points and games played. I know he had a nice start to the year, but there is a lot of risk there.

What a take. If you can get a warm body for Drouin or Monahan, you take it. This trade is the Avs best defensive prospect and most NHL ready F prospect. And a pick for good measure.

Very easy decline for Colorado and it’s astounding that any Habs fans would stay otherwise.
