Before I get ripped for the value, this is simply what I would trade for him. Not necessarily what I think his trade value will be at the Deadline.

Personally, I wouldn't give up a ton for Kane, who's shooting worse than he has in his career, is playing less at even strength than he has since the 2014-2015 season, and is on pace for the fewest goals of his career as well. I think there are bigger needs for Dallas, and if they're adamant about trading valuable pieces for a forward then there are better forwards available as well.

Will Kane fetch more than this at the deadline? More than likely. Would I give up a top prospect+ for him at this stage in his career? Probably not, especially with Chicago in the same division.

ya id pass on kane get me a guy like konecny whos young good and under contract for a few years on a good deal
