I think its more of a gamble trade. STL has the chance of getting a 1st, 2nd and B-tier prospect (Robertson has higher value I would think compared to Kravtsov). I think the trade proposed by that bleacher report was insulting (a 2nd and Kravstov), however I think the is more of a happy medium.

Regardless, that's not what happy medium means. Happy medium would be a compromise between what you want to give and what they want to ask. Not between what you want to give and some thoroughly delusional underpay. The happy medium lies higher than your offer, not way below it.

The reason I proposed my trade the way I did was because of his injury history. I think it protects the Rangers. He has the potential to get a better return than Giroux as long as the stipulation of the deal is met, 1st, 2nd, and B tier prospect. For a rental, that is the max any player is going to get or has ever got lol.

You also forget that he has a NTC and can deny any deal. I am not arguing that he is an elite talent and I would love to have him. We are both biased fans of our own teams and want the best deal possible for our teams.

I'm not being biased at all. My ask is quite reasonable, if not a slight bargain considering there's no other winger on the market who comes close to him. And his "injury history" is one shoulder problem that the surgeon didn't fix right the first two times but hasn't been any trouble at all since then, and a shot randomly hitting his hand. That's his injury history. The guy generally goes 75-80 games per regular season, and I do not recall him ever missing a playoff game (though I'd assume he maybe had to at some point).
