I wouldnt trade for Chychrun, it will cost alot and i dont think it will be a large enough improvement for the assets it costs, i do like the st louis trade i think it is exactly what they need. a 3c and a 2lw. i would throw a first in and maybe take out the 2nd?

Chychrun is a huge upgrade over Sandin. First pair potential vs maybe top 4 potential. Id make that swap everyday

You gotta remember for fans of non playoff teams - especially teams like Blues that won the cup not that long ago - TDL is like their playoffs so they live to argue the fine details. The difference between a ‘23 & ‘24 2nd is pretty minimal imo; either way the player, assuming they even pan out, is 3-4 years away from helping at nhl level.
2024 2nd is pretty fair offer for Barbashev. Some other team might beat it but 🤷 there’s going to be lots of other wingers available.
