Reason why is because the Devils haven't extended Bratt, yet, and his representation might be asking north of 8M/y right now.

The Devils handcuffed their situation with the Palat contract and I believe it's about to take its toll...

They absolutely can sign both Timo and Bratt. NJ is def not "handcuffed"

The devils should under no circumstances trade Bratt they can easily sign him long term and he has been a bit more dry lately so they will in the end probably get him for around 8 mil. They Can fit Timo to they have a lot of cap off the books this offseason

They have to fit him into the cap "this" season... that's 6M on the books. It's gonna cost NJ a lot to get 6M off the books this season especially...

If SJ retains on TIMO, NJ still has to get 3M off their books and they gotta up their offer... may end up being a real rip off.
