No depth and still over the cap

Why? Cause they get the Superstar Defender every SC-Team had (Makar, Hedman, Carlson), a reliable defense Anchor in McCabe, the Center for the 3rd Line and a Winger for the 2nd (Bonino and Domi) and Depth for the 3rd or 4th Line (Lafferty). Yes for Picks and some Talents. But nobody knows what Kind of Player they will be. And the Oilers wasted so many years of McD and Drai. At some Point you have to show your Superstars, that you as a Franchise do everythink for Succes. Idmf you don't, they're gone. Sooner than later.

The money doesn't work and you don't even have a full roster. Won't win in playoffs like that. Bonino is too old and slow, and Domi is overrated. Holloway will be better next year than Domi at 1/3rd the cost. Switch Bouchard with Ceci in the Karlsson deal and kill your Chicago deal. Just get Lafferty for a 2nd rounder. Better depth and better for the future.
