You know there’s other ways to get a Dman right? Using other pieces to get it done. For instance ARZ doesn’t consider Boeser but throw a few picks/prospects in and they likely bite hard. They would probably take a chance on gurianov too. The package you’re getting here is almost what Chych would cost.

Canucks definitely decline. Boeser at 50% retained is extremely valuable to any team, he'd earn more than a 1st + middle sixer + late picks. When do you see a 60-point winger with a 3.3M cap hit?

Replace the 2024 1st with either Bischel or Harley plus another pick (2nd or 3rd), and I think this is a fair deal for both. As stated above, if you want retention, and VAN needs D depth desperately, I think you are in the ballpark for Boeser if you give up a top D prospect.

From a Stars fan, while I do think Boeser is great for this year, but he may be redundant for next year once Stankoven comes into the Top 9. and at a much cheaper cost over the two years remaining on Boeser's deal.

Well based off your responses I most certainly know more than you do. And most on this site do also. If the smallest bit of constructive criticism puts your panties in a knot like this then maybe this site isn’t for you as there are far worse responses out there. This package isn’t anywhere close to what Chych would cost (unless it got changed). Chych will likely cost a 1st, high end prospect, and at least one more high pick/prospect/young roster player. This is a 1st (that’s not even this year) and three meh pieces

Gurianov, 1st, 3rd and add Raty or NYI 1st and that’s a done deal

I highly doubt that’s a done deal. Gurianov and a 3rd have little value, and Arizona wants an insane amount for Chych. Canucks would likely have to add both Raty and the NYI 1st to this package to get it done
