I mean I think I'd rather listen to an accredited NHL reporter than a user on capfriendly but hey think what you want bud

I mean I'd rather have independent thoughts, but hey don't always believe that you think

You have yours and I have mine, the beauty of having opinions

Carter Hart has better numbers

Carter Hart went 32-11-2 with a .927 Save % and 1.99 GAA
McNiven went 41-9-2 with a .915 Save % and 2.30 GAA while winning the CHL Goalie of the year award.

You do realize that the higher sv% is better and the lower GAA is better right?

Wins don't mean a whole lot when you have a juggernaut team in front of you.

Hart won the same award as an 17 year old

Guess your right, but I still believe McNiven should be on that list for sure.

not disqualifying McNiven, just establishing that Hart has better stats and won the award when he was two years younger

Fantastic list. I'm glad you didn't go the fanboy route and use Chabot as well.

I think Gabriel Carlsson at CBJ would be a fair addition however. Especially ahead of Fabbro Bean and Andersson.

For me its Samsonov as 1. Although technically Juuse Saros has played less than 25 NHL games so he is 1.

There are a lot of great young goalies around at the moment. Thatcher Demko and McKenzie Blackwood both had strong 1st seasons in the AHL

Gabriel Carlsson and Juolevi will be better than Chabot. BE BOLD
