ya hes better offensively....if you dont look at goals/point totals...and hes better defensively....if you dont look at defensive positioning, defensive faceoffs,.....he has more potential in that he is younger and thats it lol

At this point letting KK leave with that Offersheet is one of the better decisions Bergevin made over his tenure.

Ignoring stats are we? Ignoring that Montreal paid more for Dvorak yet KK is better to call that move good

Dvorak has been better offensively in every season that KK has been in the league? what are you even talking about lol. The move for Dvorak had nothing to do with your previous comment. Of course it was an overpay by montreal they had little leverage given the situation and had to make a quick move to address the fact they lost kk and more importantly Danualt. That doesnt change the fact that that this is the first you the two are tied in points with every previous year Dvorak out pacing him.

Pretty sure Carolina expected more growth out of KK at this point which hasnt happen, so ya given the fact that he was seeking an 8 year deal and not a bridge to prove himself i'm very content with the move overall, especially considering the center we now have in our prospect pool and will be drafting this year as well.

Don't want to be a debbie downer but Kotkaniemi has the 6th lowest xGA/60 at 5v5 among forwards, Dvorak is ranked 372nd

Offense being equal, JK has easily surpassed Dvorak this season

He's not worth his AAV yet but he's getting closer

and if we flip their teams/linemates, you think KK is going to carry that number still? lol
