I mean... If Kravtsov and Gauthier all of a sudden popped in CHI, this could look like a total fleece by CHI. But a lot of things would have to go right for that to happen, and I don't think I'd make that bet. CHI probably wants a better prospect(s).

I mean Kane has been very vocal (he has stated in that he is willing to go to NYR or TOR), if he settles for only NY then I believe this maybe with the addition of M-Barker or Barbashev could do the trick, but I doubt anyone of real significance would go to Chicaco. They are getting an extra 1st also Kravtsov who needs top 6 minutes, Gauthier is a speed demon in the bottom 6. Chicaco should look at what STL is doing (and what NY did for their rebuild) sell off assets while they still have value to them and thus get propelled quicker through a rebuild. Vancouver, Philadelphia, etc. will go through a hellish rebuild (like what the Sabres went through), since they were dragged kicking and screaming into a rebuild. I believe that smart franchises will take the NYR 2017 rebuild start as a text book start to a rebuild, and just 5 years later they made it to the ECF, and now can be real contenders.
