Description
SAY NO BILL!!
This would just be yet another Wild GM who over-estimates the team and makes an idiotic and myopic decision! I hope everyone is ready for 20 more years of mediocrity!
Trades
CHI
The ONLY reason to Wild should e involved in something like this is to retain some salary to facilitate a trade with a 3rd team.
Also, if this (or something like it) occurs, I hold (dipsh!t) owner Craig Leipold accountable! During his ownership, the Wild have continually made idiotic, short-sighted moves and we fans have literally nothing to show for it!

Yeah as fun as Kane would be to have, I don't see us acquiring him. Guerin doesn't want to move high picks for rentals and Kane will easily get a 1st if he's moved.

Why? Given his history of winning in St. Paul, I think he'd welcome the move.

I think there is questions on if teams are going to pay a premium when Kane has been having health issues resulting in less than usual player performance.

He want to be closer to home area. And he alraedy made some shots toward menedgment, I dont think he will make any favors for them.

Kane would be dumber for coming here than Leipold/Guerin would be for acquiring him!

I don't see any reason not to believe him. He's pretty up front about that stuff. But you're right, guess we'll see...

He seems as upfront and honest as anyone in his position, but he is still employed by Craig Leipold…

He hasn't given up a 1st round pick or prospect of note yet, despite adding at each deadline. A 1st was involved in the MAF trade, but the condition on the pick made it pretty safe to make it a possibility. His actions generally support his words.

Fair, I have mixed feelings about Leipold as an owner. On the one hand, he's definitely supported the team by spending to the cap and making sure they have top notch facilities. On the other hand, I'm sure Fletcher felt some pressure from him to win much sooner than he probably should have which caused years of going for it when I'd argue the only year they actually should have went for it was the year they brought in Hanzal. Not a fan of that particular deal given Hanzal's injury history, but the west was wide open that year.
