Barbashev trade is decent, would be a nice 3RW for that return

Chychrun and Crouse would be huge upgrades but paying a kings ransom like that is questionable, although id still probably do it as both of those players are longer term upgrades

Probably dont need barbashev if ur getting crouse and vice versa

Bruins aren't giving this much up for anyone. JC is a good player who is hurt every season, so its unlikely the Bruins pay a kings ransom for JC.

Ivan Barbeshev, that deal alone could likely get done as the bruins need depth for the bottom 6 and Monty knows him from him being an assistant with the blues. Likely Lauko and maybe a 4th.

Bruins then would perhaps move their direction to adding Schenn or McCabe for another B prospect and a 3rd/4th rounder.

Adding Crouse and Chychrun would be a big bold swing. I doubt the coyotes would trade Crouse, but if the Bruins are all in, I’d pay a kings ransom for both players.

Otherwise, you’re right. Target some middle of the lineup scoring, and toughness/depth on D.

Fair, if you are in it to win it, moving that many assets you need a real gab breaker that is in a position of need.
