McCabe just isn't that good. Hes not better at defending than most of our defenceman and Lafferty is just another ZAR/Hunt/McMann/Simmonds/ everyone else who's had a chance to make the team. Oh yeah and Acciari. This is just a waste of assets

We just got ROR and Acciari. The bottom six has already been strengthened.

Spending assets on Lafferty is unnecessary following the trade.

We still have to consider upgrading our defense if we want to stand a chance against Tampa.

Despite what most people are saying I’d rather get him into only 4 or 5 games and have him as a main stay in the top 6 next year. As of now he dosent fit the top 6 on the leafs. But in the fall he will. I’d rather not waste a contract year with him in the bottom 6

I guess Reilly, well and the entire Leafs defense really sucks then after tonight's game...McCabe looked better then all of them....especially Reilly defensively.
