Nyquist is traded at the TDL for a conditional 2nd round pick (turns to a 5th if he doesn't play in 50% of the teams' playoff games), but he does, and they receive the 2nd.
Korpisalo is traded at the TDL for 3rd or 4th round pick.
Korpi keeps his house in Columbus, and signs as UFA back in Columbus in July.
I would love for Jake to come back, but I think he is through and hangs the skates up.
Texier remains in Europe, so the Jackets re-sign Olivier in his place.
Jarmo plays the Chychrun lottery and wins via 2023 TDL trade.
The value is there, the salary evens out, and Chychrun is the type of defender that Jarmo covets (similar to Gavrikov), shut-down style on a team friendly contract with adequate term.
