I doubt Florida trades Duclair to Boston. Also, they have no choice but to get rid of him so if you play harder, you can get him for less than a 3rd.

I'd rather have Forbort than Gostisbehere in the lineup, way more useful defensively.

I'm keeping Smith, he is a useful depth piece.

The Hawks spending $1.3M on Craig Smith is likely going to take more than a 6th. Clearly not a 1st or 2nd, but potentially a 3rd.

    Details
If trade made today...57 days left in the season at $4.3M means ~$1.3M in cash still owed to Craig Smith.

That’s not true. They have zero need to trade him and if they were they’d be a bidding war.

I think you don't understand... the Panthers HAVE to trade him (or Bennet or Reinhart) to be cap compliant and teams know it. Maybe there will be a small bidding war but teams aren't gonna give up much when they know they have advantage on the poor cap management of the Panthers.

Duclair would cost more than a 3rd, and FLA aint moving him anyway let alone within the division

Ghost for Reilly + 1st, no thanks, BOS would rather keep Reilly as depth than trade for Ghost who doesnt even crack lineup and give up 1st
