I hate to break it to you, but Edmundson's value has dropped. It's been well reported that teams are iffy on him because of his back issues.

At this point I'd say the most you could expect is a 2nd and that may be a stretch. He's apparently the back-up plan for most teams and even then teams feel like he's a risk since there's one more year on his contract.

Oilers decline. His value has declined, and all the insiders say Edmonton is no longer interested in him.

Less than zero chance you're able to unload Anderson as a cap dump without adding a 1st minimum and it definitely won't be to Winnipeg.

The other 4 pieces are alright, but may need to be swapped for 2 or 3 pieces that have value to the Jets.

Anderson isn't a cap dump in this trade.

Im using the the fiala trade from last summer as a comparable.

Mid round first + b level prospects.

Anderson was an add in, if the jets would rather not have him he can stay with Montreal and just accept the first + b level prospects.

don't really care. I'll take a 2nd instead. The point of this was to project how our roster could shape up next season.

Anderson is a cap dump in any trade. The better comparable to look at is Horvat. PLD will cost a little more than that since he is younger, better and has a year of team control left.

Agree. They keep telling everyone that he is this valuable piece that they love having on the team, don't want to trade and have even turned down deals of a 1st and top prospect for him.

Yet, in almost every single trade they make on here, they're trying to dump him. They know that calling Anderson worthless is being generous.
