Hawks easily decline. Reichel is a top 50 NHL prospect under 23 years old as noted by Wheeler in all his rankings the last year including one updated just a week ago or so where he is ranked #20 right behind Marco Rossi. For reference, this ranking is higher then guys like Alexander Holtz (#22), Dylan Holloway (#35), Broberg (#45). That said, you can see why there is not a chance the Hawks trade him shy of receiving a overpay which would be a top 10 pick as an example or guys like Broberg or Holloway plus.

Why would the Sabres do that? Peterka is younger and doing much better than Holloway at the same age and both D are comparable?
