TLDR: proposal without a contract is mukh, johnsson, and a 2023 1st
that felt slightly low, so i added a 2nd - especially considering the ROR & senko trades
mukh was a first, so this is a recent 1st + 1st + 2nd
johnsson is neutral value; sharks could flip him before next thursday or they could keep him and flip him next TDL

devils likely wait until summer to sign him & bratt to what will likely end up being matching contracts

do the devils trust their d-core enough to run with that? siegs was healthy scratched recently...

Oh good, hope Grier abandons his asking price completely. I love Masiak as a reporter, and I am so so glad the sharks have him (his content made me subscribe to the athletic), but as all the devils fans have repeatedly told him in his mentions, he's not an insider. ROR and Tarasenko have way less value than meier does

I suspected it was this low which gives me confidence that Grier isn't trading Meier because the offers are not good enough to justify trading him. He's going to try resigning him
Muk+1+2 is not terrible but I don't think it's worth it

Yeah Holtz is a higher quality prospect than Muk, but probably still needs more than just a 1st.
At this point I have doubts any GM is offering their quality prospects, or at least the ones Grier is asking for and so he won't get traded. That or he's just waiting to see if he gets a better offer in a week. But hey the Oreilly trade came out of nowhere, so I guess there's a chance
