Once again, a third will not get any team Jeannot. Asking probably starts at a 2023 2nd and prospect

What justifies Jeannot getting that return?

He doesn’t deserve that return, but reports indicate that the Preds value him at his value from last year. He’s shown he has a high ceiling, but has been dog s—t this year. I think that with the right team, he could explode again

that's like saying the oilers value JP at last year value as well. great that they do, doesn't mean he is worth that at all.

I am not saying they make the trade here eaither but in this years market i dont think you are getting much more

I just don't think NSH cares. There's no incentive for trading Jeannot for them. Poile is gonna value Jeannot however he does, and there's nothing any other team can do about it. Most importantly, read the message. The first thing I said was that he doesn't deserve that return whatsoever.

Saying Jeannot will only get a 3rd is blasphemy though

Word coming out of Nashville is that we are working on an extension with Jeannot. I personally want a fire sale on the whole team

great! I did read your message. apparently you failed to comprehend my comparable as to why he wont get that return regardless of whether he deserves it or not. so lets take a closer look!

    JP 24 years old
    Jeannot is 25
JP is ahead in pretty much every advanced stat over that last 2 years. Corsi, Fenwick, XGF, XGF%, etc all with similar time played. let me guess your counter arguement but he gets to play with Conner and Leon sleepy well he has actually played more time away than with those 2 over the last to seasons and his stats are are actually better away than with....
Statistically about the same JP 0.44 PTs/G Jeannot 0.40 Pts/G Almost an identical past 2 season good season followed by disaster.

The oilers would not get over a 3rd for JP in any scenario but yet Jeannot is worth more? ( even if he doesn't deserve it) I don't think so. As already stated buying prices are low 2023 draft picks are being viewed as highly valuable I don't see any team giving up a 2nd for Jeannot Regardless of what he did last year.

even in the summer before the oilers Cap Crunch after 2 decent years by JP they couldn't get a 2nd rounder. so saying its blasphemy for jeannot is Is ridiculous. No team will give more this year.

“What you fail to comprehend”… lmao

You sound as if you have no idea of what I just said. What I’m saying that Poile values Jeannot that way based on multiple reports that have come out. So, he doesn’t care if Jeannot’s worth is a third, because he values Jeannot higher than that.

Wasn’t even gonna use that argument against you too. I didn’t even knock the JP comparison (which is still kinda s—t considering how different JP and Jeannot are.
