Pens fan here. This seems realistic, scary looking team and you have 7m in cap space. Interesting.

With all that cap space CBJ should sign Gagner short term(1@3,75M/2@3,25M), or don't buy Hartnel out (do it next year, or trade next year) With all the youth in lineup you should use one of those two more experienced guys or risk missing playoffs

He probably will, but if it were a 1 year or 2 year bridge and slightly higher...not outrageous.

Columbus does not have the financial resources like some of the higher end teams to continue to carry David Clarkson (so trading him away is a good idea) or even buying out Hartnell, if they can avoid it. Also, I agree with the posters above, you are looking at around $4.5-$6 million AAV for Wennberg, depending on term.
