Why would the Oilers want Holl?
Oilers cant even afford more cap. They are playing 18 guys because of this and are even using the emergancy rule.
They need a top 2 D man, not a 5-6 guy.
Number 1 right D which Holl is know where close to or a number 2 left D. Which is most likely what they are after.

This trade is none of the above. We can put JP on waivers and he either gets clamed or its still cheaper than having Holl
