Love me some Tom Wilson but holy what a return. If we could get Holtz and a first for him I would be ecstatic.

Leafs won’t trade a cost controlled young dman like Sandin for a rental. I like Jensen but unless he agrees to an extension at below market value (b/c we don’t have $5M+ cap space for him next year) which I doubt he’d do … can’t see it happening.

I mean depends on the market. You can argue that Gustafsson was a better player this year than Orlov.. hell even Jensen is arguably better. i mean you guys gave up the 13oa pick for Romanov lol like you never know what teams are willing to pay. Or if your GM is an idiot you trade an elite level Dman like Toews for 2 2nd round picks. you never know

i doubt theyll sell Wilson and more than likely Devils 1st would be late... i would take Holtz + 2nd. selling is a must and extended Wilson would be dumb to do

Devils won't give up either piece for Wilson. Best we can do is Miles wood, Sharangovich and a 4th.

i argree. im more hoping the Leafs gm is desperate bc more than likely his job correlates w the success of these playoffs. Niemelä + 3rd to me feels more realistic.

And chiarot got that insane haul. Doesnt mean itll happene again. Wilson isnt getting a low A prospect and 1st. Jensen isnt all that much of an upgrade over Sandin. Especially in the long run. And the value doesnt work either. And throwing a bunch of meh together to get two picks doesnt ever really happen. Its a franchise mode type of move

ive explained this all in previous things but again Jensen is worth anywhere between late 1st - 2nd +. impossible to know. Like you said Chariot got a unprotected 1st +. Wilson perceived value is extremely high. it very possible that a teams sees him as a solution to get them over the hump. Hagel for example got multiple 1st round picks. like i said you never know but the more diversity you offer the more your value goes up imo

Maybe but i feel like Wilson offer enough diversity in his game that GM would value him in a Hagel like way. i do agree with the risk factor
