Maybe Sid wants to win another cup to add to his resume. I don't think it is very likely, as you said, but it would be cool to see Sid on the Avs to play with MacKinnon or the Leafs with Matthews.

Wait, we get ALL of Toronto's spare parts AND we get two #25-32 picks for a generational 1C still producing at a high level?

You forgot Sandin and Knies, the two young prospects who will help the Pens in their rebuild. I think the Pens should be smart and trade Sid and Malkin sooner rather than later.
