A Goligoski - Lybushkin pairing sounds like it has potential to be completely horrible ngl

It’s the bottom pair….if the success of the team shouldn’t hinge on the third pair. Goligoski is an upgrade over Bryson and does bring loads of experience to the table, and that’s really why they need. He’s pair with Lybushkin, so it helps that there’s familiarity.

Peeke is the one though I really would want. You may not like the idea of a Bush-Goligoski pair on the third, but I love the idea of a Power-Peak pair on the second pair. That can be a long term shut down pair for this team

They just extended Peeke to a club friendly deal he's not going anywhere.

Sure CBJ gives up a very good young defenseman on an extremely club friendly deal for a bunch of magic beans.

It's not completely unlikely that they trade Peeke. When they extended him they had no idea Jiricek was going to look as good as he has in the AHL. He's probably going to be in the NHL next year. I doubt they anticipated Blankenburg being as big of a roleplayer as he has been too. If there's a solid offer on the table then Peeke or Boqvist could definitely be traded.

U take Greenway, who should be on a 4th line,
and put him on the 2nd

WHY ??
That’s a really bad idea
If you’re gonna have a guy on our team who is physical, & brings little else to the table, then at least put him where he belongs- either buried down in the lineup, or (preferably) in the Press Box

Sure
But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t aim for better

Sucks for Minnesota too. Addresses none of their needs.
