Hanifin >> Connor

Jets get the LD they need and don't lose any talent on RD. Canes get their top C but downgrade their D corps. There are pros and cons from both sides for this trade. Way too many star players for it to ever be in the realm of possibility anyways; just wanted to post for fun.

No way would the Jets be willing to lose that much star talent without getting anything back.

As a Jets fan I laughed....then I thought about it a bit more then still settled on a very firm No chance. Scheif's too good, too young, improving every year and on an amazing contract.

However, .....as a Canes fan what if we dropped Scheif and Faulk from the deal.

Trouba + Connor for Hanifin + Rask ??

As a Jets fan I do that deal IF
a) Trouba still wants out of Wpg
b) Myers proves he is back to healthy and can play at a 2nd pairing level

That would be a no; Canes need a top center. Like I said in the description though, this trade would never ever happen anyways.

Trouba is straight up the best player in that trade. Yes he is better and more important to the jets than Scheifele. Also canes need scoring. it can come from the wingers or center hell even the dmen but more scoring is what they need.

Scheifele is the best player in the trade hands down so idk what the WPG fan is talking about. Scheifele is worth more than Hanifin/Rask alone and Trouba/Connor is worth more than Faulk. You're asking WPG to give up the two best players in the trade

I would agree that Scheifele is the best player in the trade, but Faulk is better than Trouba. I would say the order would be Scheifele, Faulk, Trouba, Hanifin, Rask, Connor. Does this trade make sense for either team? No. Was it fun to think about? Yes.
