Domi scored 2 goals in game 7 of round 1 last year. Kerfoot cost us game 6. Need I say more?

yeah, because one game doesnt decide a players career. Kerfoot by large over his entire career has been better and more impactful in the playoffs than Domi.
Kerfoot has a higher playoff PPG and a lower PIM rate than Domi does in the playoffs and is significantly better defensively. Need I say more?

Don't need him to play defence. Why do you think they go O'Rielly and Acciari? Their offensive production was not the reason, it was their two-way play that was attractive. You aren't getting Domi to play on the PK. Your getting him to have C depth, another option in the Top 6, and to improve PP 2.

because Domi is so bad defensively that he gives up more that way than he contributes offensively, especially in a bottom 6 role where he'd be playing with the leafs

Keefe said 3 headed monster is more than likely. So honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him Line 1 or 2 LW.

except he's not going to displace Bunting on the top line and he isnt going to pass Jarnkrok on the other, And when the leafs load up on the power play he isnt going to get on that top unit either, He's not good enough to push anyone playing in the leafs top 6 now.

I prefer the eye test and actual stat line. You could put so many other players into the opportunities he is getting and they would have a hard time hitting 40 points in an entire season let alone before the trade deadline. Also this is Chicago we are talking about here. He is the second highest point scorer behind Kane, and no I refuse to believe that is solely because he plays with Kane since Kane up until a week ago was having the worst season of his career.

uh huh. I'm sure you are watching a lot of Blackhawks games.

Domi looks like a flashy gritty player. His defence probably looks so bad cuz the Blackhawks suck lol. Don't really need to overthink it.

The point is you haven't actually watched him much because who is watching Blackhawks' games this season. You aren't relying on the eye test. When has his defense been good before if you think its just because of the team? When you are spending 1st round picks, you can bet you should probably overthink it.

It's highly unlikely Domi would be the ones to score them. Having done so in 1 game before doesn't mean it's any more likely to happen again.
