      NYR starting March 1st can add an additional $2.625mil in cap space to their roster since they waived Jake Lecyschyn and trade vitaly kravtsov.

      If Lindgren is out long term, this move is just a needless scuttling of good assets. That defense against Jack Hughes & Co. ?? Could be a really embarrassing 4 or 5 games.

      I meant Just over the next few regular season games. I think he will be back by the start of the playoffs

      If lindgren is on LTIR then they can make the move as early as today.

      they do seem locked into their playoff slot as of now...but if Lindgren is out until the playoffs, the left side of that D is what can generate a collapse. I guess we'll need to hear an update on Lindy before taking that disaster too far...but him leaving yesterday with arm in a sling leaves an awful lot to be anxious about.
