Parayko would be nice, but he isn't waiving for Winnipeg. The Jets also would not be wise to overpay that badly for an older defenseman having a horrible year with a high dollar contract taking him through his declining years until age 37.

Jets say no, and Parayko's NMC doesn't start until 2028.

The rebuild is beginning this draft so get ready. Nino for a 24 second should’ve signaled that. No prospects or firsts will be moved. Jets most likely lose in 5 round 1 and sell everything

His NTC is in effect now and he's not waiving that for Winnipeg.
