Description

Pens have apparently been in talks with Arizona, Hextall has said he doesn't want to move a first but would if it was player with term.

Chychrun and Schmaltz would both fit that and gives you a top D pair, and a 3C for the next couple seasons before malkin/crosby/letang retire.

Bjugstad would be a solid 4C and cheap.

Pens would need to move Blueger/McGinn and probably Dumolin (would need to be another team, i assume AZ is on his NTC).

two first and pickering also need to go

Pens declined 2025 and 2026 1sts for Chychrun. Hextall said he wont trade future picks. Doubt were able to get both Schmaltz and Chychrun

I think they should go all in on Chychrun so you dont have to deal with replacing Dumo in the offseason. If you could add in extra for Vejmelka that would be huge because he could be a true 1B and it gives you a backup plan if you cant get Jarry resigned. Schmaltz would be nice but I dont see how it could work with his caphit.
