I don't see anything higher than a 6th probably since he's a UFA anyway. He could be flipped for assets by a tanking team if they can retain salary though, so there's some value.

I agree, it's really just getting rid of salary


Of course, and you have to PAY to get rid of it. The Canucks are not in the playoff race and have no interest in adding salary for free.

Kerfoot is not a negative asset and the Cancuks have paid for bad contracts before *cough* OEL *cough* I don't think there would be a return for Kerfoot but the Leafs aren't going to have to pay when the Cancuks can either a) flip him with retention to a contender since he's still a good b6w at a lower price or sign him before FA

Why on earth would Vancouver do that? You make no sense.
