No from Isles, that extra year is a non starter for cap reasons.

it's a little known bylaw in the NHL CBA that if you trade for Vlad Namestnikov on deadline day the price is a 4th rounder, no matter what. Other than that the values look fair here - Isles would pass but I think the value is fine for Labanc, if I'm Carolina I try and talk you into one of my prospects and a lesser pick, but Barabanov is one of the better options left out there. Bonino & Reimer are mid-round prices, so there you go.

Their bank accounts say they're good. How does Ovie feel about Caps sellling?

We have a plan. Going to use those assets that we have gotten a flip them to get better in the offseason. I think we will be a contender again. Need to fire Lavi and get healthy and stay healthy. That’s our issue

Forsure. Don't hate Sharks moves so far, but I wish I was more certain of the Sharks plan haha.

Hertl is in for the long haul at this point, I expect Karlsson to be traded in the offseason for a decent haul (probably a first, a top-tier prospect, and a couple sweeteners in exchange for a few mil in retention)

I'll keep that in mind. The 2 destinations I keep seeing for Labanc are NYI & Buffalo, so I picked one of those. The Sharks apparently don't want to move Barabonov, but I don't think they can say no if someone offers a first for him, he's a little old to fit into the Sharks' next playoff window anyway.
